Our Story
Everybody wants to know the story of our name. We picked it up from a small business owner who kept all of his receipts in a shoebox. A little old school, but not unusual. His accountant kept after him to modernize and told him how much that would improve the performance of his business. The owner thought for a minute and said, “When I started my business, I had absolutely nothing but that shoebox and it was empty. Today I’ve got a business that I love, a house that’s paid for, and I put three kids through college. I think the shoebox works.”
We took our name to honor the idea that small business owners always find a way that works. Today our promise is that we will always find a way that works for you and we will always have something extra for you in our shoebox.
